How to make an order
Browsing & Shopping

Browse the store using the department and brand links, the search box, and the what’s hot quick link at the top of the page.

When you’ve found something you like, select the desired size and click 'add to cart'. You can then keep shopping or go straight to the checkout.

Registering

You’ll need to tell us a few things about yourself as well as the address where your credit card is registered to and where you want your order delivered (if different). Don’t worry, all these details are completely secure (we use Verisign Secure Technology). At this point you’ll be given the option to choose a password and register with us, meaning we’ll have all your details next time you return.

Then, once you’ve checked all your details are correct, just enter your credit or debit card details *, press 'submit your order' and you’re done! We'll send you an email to confirm your order details.

* Your credit card number is NOT stored on our server or database, so even in the unlikely event that our security was ever breached your credit card number would not be compromised.
Shipping Information
Shipping is £1.95 for UK. We use Recorded delivery, but please allow 3-5 days to allow for processing of your order. Orders placed after 9.30am on a Friday will not be dispatched until midday on the following Monday. If you wish to track your order online, please email a request to shop@jakesofsoho.co.uk including your order number, and we will send you a tracking reference number which can be used at the royal mail website.

If you’re not in when your parcel is delivered, the carrier will leave you a card informing you that delivery has been attempted. On this card will be instructions on how to obtain your parcel.
Security Policy
We utilise industry-standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to allow for the encryption of potentially sensitive information such as your name, address and other critically sensitive information like your credit card details. Information passed between your computer and our Web site cannot be read in the event someone else intercepts it. This technology includes the following features:

* Authentification – this assures your browser that your data is being sent to the correct computer server, and that the server is secure.
* Encryption – this encodes the data, so that it cannot be read by anyone other than the secure server.
* Data Integrity – this checks the data being transferred to ensure it has not been altered.
International Orders
We welcome international orders, but as our website is in it’s infancy we don’t yet have an automated service for satisfying them.

If you live anywhere outside the UK and wish to make an order, please email shop@jakesofsoho.co.uk, quoting the item name/ description and your postal details, and we will reply with further instructions and details of delivery times and costs. Please do not email your credit card details.

Returns Policy
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, simply return the item or items to us in their original condition* within 14 days of receipt. We will issue a full refund upon receipt and examination. If you require a different product you will need to place a new order online and return the original item for a refund. Delivery charges are non-refundable unless you have received a faulty or wrong item from us.

Faulty or Wrong Item
If the item you received is faulty or is not what you originally ordered, please e-mail shop@jakesofsoho.co.uk quoting your order number, your name and address, details of the product and the reason for return, and whether you require a refund or a replacement. We will then advise on how to proceed with the return.

Please allow 2 working days from receipt of a return for us to process a refund. Once a refund is processed you will receive an email confirming this (the email will be sent to the same email address as your order confirmation email was sent). After receiving the return confirmation email, please allow a further 5-10 working days for the refund to be credited to your account.

This time frame is dictated by your bank or card issuer and is outside of our control. Your refund will be credited to the same card with which you made your original purchase. If for any reason this is not possible, (i.e. the card had been declined or has expired) we will send a cheque to your billing address.
Exchange in Jakes stores
If you wish to exchange in Jakes stores, you must present your receipt, or a print-out of your order confirmation email.
Part of Order Missing
Regrettably mistakes can happen. If you have received your order and an item is missing, please email shop@jakesofsoho.co.uk quoting your order number and the missing item, and we will investigate the matter further.
Return Postage
If you are returning a non-faulty item to us for a refund, then the cost of returning the item to us is your responsibility.

Please note, the item is your responsibility until it reaches us. For your own protection, we recommend that you send the parcel using a delivery service that insures you for the value of the goods.

If the item you received is faulty or is not what you originally ordered, please e-mail shop@jakesofsoho.co.uk quoting your order number, your name and address, details of the product, and details of the fault/ mistake. We will then advise on how to proceed with the return.

* Note: when trying on items of clothing, please ensure that you are not wearing perfume / aftershave or a deodorant which may leave a scent or marks on the item. We will be unable to accept the return of any item where there is evidence that these instructions have not been followed. The item must be returned in its original packaging with any enclosed documentation.
